According to TheTravelAcademy experts, most major airlines set their own age, height, language, fitness, nationality and appearance standards for in-flight staff.

Because of the unpredictability of the skies, flight attendants must remain nimble, alert and capable of handling any task — including terrifying turbulence and unruly riders.

Henny Lim, an employee at Cebu Pacific in the Philippines, revealed virally that she and her flight attendants are instructed to sit on their hands, a posture called the “squeeze position,” during take-off and landing to reduce the risk to the body. damage in the event of an emergency collision.

Ibo, too, previously revealed that as she greets passengers on a plane, she and her seemingly warm co-workers aren’t just friendly.
